I. STEP ONE
The best way to start a lemon law claim is to let one of our attorneys evaluate your case over the phone. From there, your claim against the manufacturer can usually be initiated within a day or two. It is not necessary to have any documentation for our initial discussion.
II. STEP TWO
After our conversation, however, we will need the following documents: Your purchase contract or lease agreement; Current registration for the vehicle; and All repair orders and/or maintenance records. If we determine you have a valid claim, we will have you sign our simple representation letter allowing us to represent you in your lemon law claim. III. STEP THREE
The manufacturer will have 30 days to make an initial response to our demand. In the meantime, as the claim proceeds, we may need additional documents and information (for example: lien holder/lender information; payment history; rental car or towing receipts, etc...). IV. STEP FOUR
As soon as we hear from the manufacturer, you are contacted regarding the response. Our attorneys keep you informed and provide advice throughout the entire process.
